SoC Student and Faculty Member Take Part in the Ninth Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change

The Miami Hurricane Takes First Place at the Sunshine State Awards

The Miami Hurricane, UM’s student-run newspaper, won first place in two categories at the 21st annual Sunshine State Awards held on Saturday, August 15. Alumnus’ Gift to Launch Speaker Series on the First Amendment

James Hoffman, A.B. ’80, has made a $50,000 pledge that will create the James Hoffman Family Endowed Speaker Series in the School of Communication at the University of Miami.
