NYU Moving Image Archiving & Preservation Collaborates with University of Miami to Preserve the Work of Buky Schwartz

The Moving Image Archiving and Preservation (MIAP) program at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the University of Miami’s Norton Herrick Center for Motion Picture Studies have joined forces with the Estate of Buky Schwartz to preserve the late artist’s extensive archive of multimedia works. University of Miami’s Interactive Media Program Named to The Princeton Review 2016 List, “Top 25 Graduate Schools to Study Game Design”

University of Miami School of Communication’s Interactive Media Program has earned a #23 ranking on The Princeton Review's just-published list saluting the top 25 graduate schools to study game design for 2016. The Princeton Review chose the schools based on a survey it conducted in 2015 of 150 institutions offering game design coursework and/or degrees in the United States, Canada, and some countries abroad. Ibis Wins Awards from ACP, CSPA

Ibis, University of Miami’s yearbook, was named one of the 14 college yearbook Pacemaker Finalists by the Associated Collegiate Press for its issue from the 2014 – 2015 academic year. According to Randy Stano, the editorial adviser for Ibis, the yearbook has received 13 Pacemaker Finalists and has won eight Pacemaker Awards. Establishment of the Media Management Association Awards

Supported by the Department of Journalism and Media Management (JMM), the Media Management Association (MMA) will present its first awards ceremony recognizing outstanding undergraduate student works in the media management area at the Annual Student Media Awards on Tuesday, April 26.
