About the Role & Program

Join us for the opportunity to intern with Disney Television Animation Studios! Become part of the Disney Difference by bringing your exceptional work ethic, teamwork and analytic skills to the Disney Branded Television/TV Animation Studio Planning team where you will help deliver the magic of creating an ideal studio environment for hundreds of creative artists.

The approximate dates for this internship are June 2026 through December 2026. If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Environment & Events and the Director, Artist Recruitment at Disney Television Animation. What You Will Do

Support Studio Operations

  • Partner with Environment and Events to ideate, plan and execute all studio initiatives (example: culture building, onsite events & etc.)
  • Support onsite activities and events from set up to break down
  • Design and create graphics packages for assigned initiatives

Support Artist Recruitment

  • Partner with Artist Recruitment to coordinate initiatives related to DTVA talent outreach events, collaborative talent outreach events with other TWDC Studios, and recruitment marketing
  • Assist with the execution of social media strategies for recruitment (LinkedIn)
  • Assist with graphic design and presentations of Talent Acquisition processes and reports

Experience Life at Disney Television Animation Studios

Disney Television Animation Creative Production Intern, Summer 2026

About the Role & Program

Would you like to strengthen your creative skills and learn how animated television is made? Join us for an opportunity to be a part of Disney Television Animation (DTVA) as a Creative Production Intern. DTVA is an industry leader in the creation of animated television products for preschoolers, kids, and tweens. The studio brings programming and production expertise together under the same leadership as Disney Channels Worldwide. This role is excellent if you are curious and eager to learn about animated television!

The approximate dates of this internship are from June 2026 through August 2026. If selected for this opportunity, you will report directly to the Artist Manager. What You Will Do

As a Creative Production Intern for DTVA, you will learn the inner workings of the creative and production side of the organization. You will gain insight into the world of storytelling through exposure to a writer’s room, storyboard pitches, casting (recording/ADR session), script breakdown, tracking artwork, and to the post-production process including calling retakes and attending mix/playback to delivery.

You will be assigned to a show(s) on an animated TV series and gain insight into production and artistic staff responsibilities. Not every day is the same as a Production Intern, but you can expect some of the following:

  • Collaborate with production/creative teams and technical staff on various, ongoing projects.
  • Shadow and learn the responsibilities of an Artist within a studio environment.
  • Gain insight into the world of storytelling.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Prior (external to school) internship within media/entertainment.
  • Strong interest and passion for animation.
  • Strong curiosity in television and the entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of Disney Television Animation content.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Storyboard Pro, Illustrator, and Maya a plus.

Education 

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • A student studying in Animation, Illustration, Sequential Arts, Entertainment Design or a related discipline

ABC Hulu Scripted Programming Intern, Summer/Fall 2026

About the Role & Program

ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals compelling programming includes “Only Murders in the Building,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” the longest-running medical drama in primetime television; exciting dramas “High Potential,” “Paradise,” “The Rookie,” and “Tell Me Lies”; trailblazing comedies “Abbott Elementary,” “Shifting Gears,” “Chad Powers,” and the highly-anticipated return of “Scrubs”; and animated juggernauts “Futurama” and “King of the Hill.”

The ABC Entertainment and Hulu Originals Programming team oversees all primetime and streaming scripted drama and comedy series development and current programming. The Drama and Comedy teams collaborate with best-in-class talent and artists of all kinds to transform their idea/concepts into television series. We hear pitches, read incoming script submissions, and give feedback on projects we’ve bought to develop and series that are airing/streaming. We also work closely with other internal teams and departments such as Legal/Business Affairs, Casting, Marketing, Public Relations, and our Studio partners to bring TV shows to life.

This is a full-time internship, and the approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through December 2026. If selected for this internship, you will report directly to a Manager on the Scripted Programming team. What You Will Do

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Assistants with grids, project tracking, some calendar scheduling and phones, Microsoft Teams and in-person meeting setups, Airtable database updates, and general daily administrative tasks.
  • Supporting the Coordinators in various administrative tasks and department wide projects and tracking.
  • Reading scripts, writing coverage and engaging in/consuming and tracking various forms of media that could be of interest to the development teams, including but not limited to podcasts, television series, movies, novels, comic books, web series, social media personalities, documentaries, articles, etc.
  • Distribution of various documents and media internally.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using Google Suite and MS Office Suite, including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Airtable experience welcome.
  • Previous internship experience within a related field.
  • A strong interest in scripted television and learning the intricacies of its process from development, to production, to launch.
  • Strong attention to detail; takes pride in and ownership of their work.
  • Responsible, dependable, and organized with excellent communication/writing skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments by deadline.
  • Comfort with and enthusiasm for a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in covering phone lines for executives and/or senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of current series on ABC, Hulu, and other platforms/networks.
  • Interest in tracking up-and-coming writers, directors, and talent (including emerging digital talent).

Education 

  • A student studying in their senior year of undergrad preferred.  

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
