We are looking for an aggressive, creative, on-line show producer. Should have medium market producing skills. Heavy emphasis on show stacking, headline and tease writing, as well as copy editing. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two (2) years experience as a TV News Producer required. Must be proficient in Windows XP.
TIF Weekend/ 9AM Weekday Producer
7 News is looking for a line producer candidate to step in on our weekend morning shows, as well as three days a week, on our weekday, Today In Florida newscasts. Writes copy for newscasts and assists producers in the production of shows. This is an entry-level position, but applicants must have solid broadcast writing skills, be willing to work all hours, and want to learn the business from the ground up. Must be proficient in Windows 10. Our writers are considered for future producer openings, so those with a strong interest in producing should apply.
On-Line Weekend 5 & 10 Producer
7 News is looking for an aggressive, weekend producer who is not afraid to constantly change their rundown. Our weekend newscasts are just as high energy as weekdays and we maintain the highest of standards when it comes to the writing and stacking of our shows. This candidate should possess an outstanding attention to detail, creativity and the ability to adapt to any changes. During the week, this producer fills in on the main newscasts. Experience in package writing is also a must. Producer must have at least 2 years of line producing experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or the work experience equivalent.
