Vital is a tech company who is working towards bringing the beverage industry online.

We are seeking a reliable and creative person to serve as an on-call videographer to capture engaging, raw-style video content for social media. This role is perfect for someone passionate about filming and storytelling who wants paid experience building their portfolio.

The majority of content will be spontaneous, lifestyle-oriented, and fast-turnaround — focused more on authenticity than heavy post-production. You’ll need to be able to show up when asked, capture clean footage, and deliver files quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

Be available on a flexible, as-needed basis to film content in and around Miami.

  • Capture high-quality raw video footage using either a DSLR/mirrorless camera or a high-end smartphone with stabilization.
  • Follow direction during shoots while also providing creative input on angles, lighting, and framing.
  • Transfer and deliver raw footage promptly (via Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar).
  • Maintain reliability and professionalism — punctual arrival, readiness to shoot, and attention to detail.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Miami-area college or university (film, media, or communications focus preferred).

  • Strong familiarity with smartphone and/or DSLR/mirrorless camera video recording.
  • Basic understanding of natural light, framing, and composition.
  • Ability to work with minimal prep and adapt to spontaneous filming situations.
  • Reliable transportation to locations within the Miami area.
  • Owns or has consistent access to a high-quality smartphone (iPhone 12 Pro/13/14/15 or equivalent Android flagship) or a DSLR/mirrorless setup.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience creating short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
  • Accessory gear (gimbal, tripod, external mic).
  • Basic editing skills in apps like CapCut, Final Cut, or Adobe Premiere (not required but helpful)

Education:

Junior, Senior or Graduate Student

Compensation: $30/hr
