Investigative Producer

Seeking hands on self-starter for an Investigative and Consumer Producer position. Responsible for writing, gathering content and producing stories from concept to air. Must be able to establish contacts in the field, manage tips and public records requests, compose open records requests, and conduct interviews Must have investigative experience, bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a TV news producer. Promotions Producer

South Florida’s #1 News Station, WSVN 7 is looking for a Promotion Producer to join our Creative Services team. Must have experience writing, producing and editing station image spots, news teases and commercials for clients. College degree preferred with skills in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Photoshop and After Effects. Please include your demo reel and resume with your application

Assignment Desk Assistant

Assists the Assignment Editor on the desk, monitors police and fire scanners, gathers information from police and fire agencies, dispatches news crews to stories, and assists reporters with setting up stories. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work well with others. Must have a proficiency in news writing. Some TV experience required. Must be proficient in Windows 10.

Reporter

Develops, researches and writes stories for broadcast on the air. Bachelor’s degree in journalism required. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a television news reporter required. Photographer

We are looking for a very aggressive photographer with good story telling abilities. Must have a good “news eye” for our fast-paced news shows, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, as well as work well with others. Knowledge of Sony HD cameras and non-linear editing is a must. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and a valid class “D” driver’s license is required.

Digital Writer

Selected Candidate will assist The Cyber-Journalist/Producer in writing and entering data into the WSVN-TV website to make sure it has the latest news posted. Candidate must have excellent writing & grammar skills and be proficient in Windows 10. Applicant should also have a strong knowledge of Internet sites and possess good web researching skills.

On-Line – TIF 10AM Producer

Today In Florida, is expanding! We will now deliver 6 hours of power — adding now a 10am newscast. This is a brand-new show launch, and an exciting new venture for the entire 7 News Team. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic line producer to join us for this additional hour of power. We are a hard news morning show that is constantly evolving with breaking news. Our line producers juggle many changes and must be able to execute those changes well, in addition to the creative writing and communication demands. Must have:

  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • The ability to execute directions in a face paced environment
  • Solid communication skills with e.p.’s, show writers, and technical crew
  • The ability to juggle several breaking stories
  • Two or more years of line producing experience-bachelor’s degree in journalism/communications or the work equivalent.

Non-Linear Editor – PM

Must have a minimum of 1-year news editing experience. A working knowledge of various editing software such as AVID, Final Cut or Adobe Premiere. Broadcast Communications associate’s degree or TV Production training required. Should be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

VIZ CG Operator

Great opportunity to learn and work on the Vizrt. Candidate will work in post-production, design and on-air environments. Must be organized, reliable and a good communicator. Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work flexible hours, weekend and holidays. Minimum 1 year experience or related college courses. Television majors welcome to apply.
