UM Debate Hosts Rwandan Debate Delegation

On Tuesday, September 20, for the second consecutive year, UM Debate hosted iDebate Rwanda in a public debate on the motion, Aid to Africa Does More Harm Than Good. Rwanda is a country in East Africa known for only one thing; the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi people. Miami Children’s Health Foundation (MCHF)’s 5th Annual Fashion Gives Back was a night of high-fashion and high-energy for all students of University of Miami’s Public Relations Experience Program (PREP). PREP’s First Special Olympics Awards Gala

University of Miami’s PREP students spent Saturday night, Sept. 24, working the Annual Special Olympics Sponsor an Athlete Awards Dinner Gala at the JW Marriot Marquis marking the first time PREP has teamed up with the organization. University of Miami PREP students had an early yet rewarding start to their Saturday by assisting the staff of the South Florida office of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with its annual St. Jude’s Run/Walk to End Childhood Cancer at the Miami-Dade County Fair Grounds on Sept. 24. Taylor Gandolfi graduated from the University of Miami in 2016 with a Master of Fine Arts in Interactive Media and an impressive portfolio. As part of the program’s capstone project, Gandolfi built her own robotic hand. After graduating from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 2014, Gandolfi decided that University of Miami School of Communication was the right fit for her.
