Internship opportunities available will either be hybrid, in-person (requiring an intern to work from Telemundo Center, Miami, FL 3 days per week) based on the location mentioned, or virtual, depending on business needs.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Technical Artist(s), Real-Time Graphic Specialists, Designers, and Engineers in a collaborative, product-driven environment using modern technologies.
- Provides support in the creation of blueprints & virtual production workflow.
- Works under the direct supervision of the Director, Real Time Graphics, and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned as needed.
Desired Competencies:
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Provide a reel/portfolio of work examples.
- Plug-in writing skills or an understanding of C++ / Unreal Blueprint is strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Unreal, Maya, Photoshop, or equivalent tools with a core understanding of the inner workings of the tool.
- Must be able to provide portfolio/website demonstrating technical artist ability that includes Unreal-based work.
- Must be willing to work in person at Telemundo Center.
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
- Must be working from within the United States during all hours worked.
The internship hourly rate for undergrad students is $17.00 and $25.00 for MBA or master’s degree.
