Overview:
Miami Rush is a fast-paced action-comedy short following an undercover agent whose attempt to tail a suspect is derailed by distraction, charm, and escalating chaos. The film blends energetic dialogue, chase sequences, and character-driven comedy in a vibrant South Florida setting. Students who may be interested in acting or gaining hands-on experience as crew on a professional short film set. I’m especially interested in connecting with students studying film, theatre, communications, or related fields.
The Roles:
The project is a fast-paced, character-driven short film and will be a four-day shoot, taking place May 7–10, all in downtown Naples. We are seeking students interested in the following roles:
- Actors (speaking roles and background)
- Production Assistants
- Camera Assistant
- Sound Operator
- Assistant Director support
** This opportunity provides real on-set experience, screen credit, and portfolio material. Participation may qualify for internship or class credit depending on the student’s academic program. Students are responsible for coordinating credit approval through their department.
