As one of the studios under the Disney Television banner, we work with the top talent across the industry and curate programming for our six exciting network partners (FX, Hulu, Freeform, ABC, Nat Geo, Disney+, Onyx), and beyond. What You Will Do
As an intern for the President’s office, you will be a part of supporting the President– working alongside her Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant– to make sure that she has what she needs to be best prepared to succeed in all aspects of her role. You will also shadow the Chief of Staff and President’s Executive Assistant, learning about the various roles and departments that support the studio’s day to day function and broader business goals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist the team with administrative tasks including fielding calls, scheduling meetings, organizing materials for daily reading and watching, and managing the president’s calendar
- Research and compile information regarding travel and other logistical business needs
- Database Management – including Airtable, Contacts and Distribution Lists Updates
- Reading incoming scripts and provide thoughtful feedback
- Attend team meetings to captures notes as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong interest in the series 20th television produces as well as the current television landscape – this includes a basic knowledge of current, popular television series and the major platforms and networks
- Works well on teams and independently with minimal direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the entertainment industry or is interested growing in the industry (e.g. creative development space)
- Previous experience with script coverage
- Familiar with using Airtable
- Previous experience with editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere)
Education:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- A student studying in their senior year or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025
- Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, CA area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
