Hey there! We’re Gela Beach, a Miami-based swimwear brand specializing in the viral bamboo wrap dress, a versatile beachwear favorite. As we gear up for the Spring 2025 season, we’re excited to offer 2-3 internship opportunities for passionate and social media-savvy individuals to join our team!

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for enthusiastic interns who are ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into content creation and social media management. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok, and an understanding of what makes engaging, viral content.
  • Video Editing Skills: Willingness to learn is welcome, but prior experience with video editing tools is a significant plus.
  • Detail-Oriented Team Players: Collaboration is key, as you’ll be working closely with a small, dynamic team.

What You’ll Do

As part of the intern team, you’ll:

Edit and Organize Content:

  • In the first two weeks, work on editing raw footage from our extensive content library to create engaging, high-quality videos for social media.
  • Use creativity to repurpose and refresh existing footage to match our brand aesthetic and voice.

Platform-Specific Content Management:

  • One intern will focus on managing Instagram: uploading edited content, optimizing captions, and posting on the platform.
  • Another intern will focus on TikTok: ensuring frequent uploads, leveraging trends, using TikTok Shop, and optimizing content for TikTok’s unique audience.

Content Creation on Location:

  • Interns are encouraged, but not required, to join us on Miami Beach to capture fresh, authentic footage featuring beachgoers and models trying on our versatile bamboo wrap dress.

Optional Modeling Opportunity:

  • If interested, you can model our bamboo wrap dress for organic and advertisement use. Let us know in your application if this appeals to you. If this is ALL you are interested in, or know someone who would be interested in just this, let us know!

Learn About Facebook Ads (Optional):

  • Our business thrives on Facebook and Instagram ads. If you’re curious about how paid advertising works, let us know, and we’ll provide insights and training.

Internship Details

  • Commitment: Part-time, with flexible scheduling to accommodate school or other commitments. We’re initially looking for 12 hours per week, spread across 3 days, with 4 hours of work per day.
  • Location: Hybrid – much of the work can be done remotely, but in-person collaboration on Miami Beach is encouraged for content creation days.
  • Compensation: $500 per month, with an exciting bonus structure:
    • If a video you upload achieves 1 million views, you’ll receive a $100 bonus!
