Responsibilities & Duties

Full time media coordinator will support the Executive Director of Media and sales team, working closely with the editorial and marketing teams.

  • Accurately complete advertising proposals.
  • Respond to clients relating to in-bound advertising requests.
  • Act as liaison between MDD clients and sales team.
  • Handle editorial credit tracking and monitor ad positioning.
  • Help process ad insertion orders and maintain other critical paperwork as needed.
  • Aid in client prospecting, share in the responsibility of monitoring trade media for
    important client information and industry developments.
  • Manage VIP mailing and subscription list.
  • Manage financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee sales tracking systems, ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee photographers and scheduling of monthly photo shoots.
  • Work with marketing team to ensure sales materials are current.
  • Assist in development of local marketing initiatives and participation in industry events.
  • Maintain CRM database that is current and informative.
  • Schedule, program, and monitor advertising campaigns on digital directories and website.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Resourceful and self-motivate
  • Interest within the media or advertising industry
  • Must be personable, organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a
    fast-paced environment
  • Should have MS Office Suite experience (especially Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Google
    Workspace
  • 1-3 years of experience

Compensation: $60,000 / yr
