We are currently looking for candidates for the Master Control Room at the Mediapro facility in
Medley, specifically for the beIN Sports control room.
A Master Control operator is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of on-air
products and is the final point before a signal is transmitted for terrestrial television or
cablecast. Duties include:
Preview playlists to ensure that all assets are available and ready for broadcast as
scheduled.
Evaluating technical quality of content and assuring standards are met.
Editing, managing of on-air logs, automation playlists and server device management.
Submits timely discrepancy reports on scheduling, traffic, and on-air irregularities.
Report equipment problems to Engineering and perform emergency workarounds.
Processing of work order requests for time compression services.
May be assigned to other duties as necessary for emergency or special operating
conditions.
This position is full-time and a great entry-level job for those looking to begin in the television
industry.
This a 24/7 operation, with a 12-hour shift from 7am to 7pm and an overnight shift from 7pm
to 7am. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week. After an initial training period,
overnights may be required depending on the shifts that need to be covered.
