Style Saves raises funds through fashion-focused events to provide underprivileged students with essential items for their academic and personal success. These items include clothing, school uniforms, shoes, school supplies, prom and graduation attire, and more upon request. By providing students with the tools they need, we are also supporting their families during financially challenging times. We also host the largest school give-back each year in August, our Back-to-School event, which hosts over 25,000 visitors and helps over 15,000 students.
Description:
We are currently seeking an intern for General Logistics & Event Production for the spring semester. This role is ideal for students interested in event planning, production, and philanthropy. The intern will work closely with our team to support the planning, coordination, and execution of Style Saves events and programs, gaining hands-on experience in logistics and event management.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in event production, hospitality, or fashion is a plus
- Social media content creation skills are a bonus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Own digital devices (laptop, tablet)
- Weekly availability minimum: 10-15 hours
Responsibilities:
- Assist with organizing, production, and onsite logistics for events, drives, and special programs
- Coordinate vendors, volunteers, and schedules for events
- Sort donations and maintain inventory updates
- Support social media and blog content creation as needed
- Assist with contact lists, databases, and community outreach upon request
