Company Description

Pacagen (pacagen.com) is a house of brands disrupting consumer industries through biotechnology-backed products built by our in-house research lab. Our first brand helps people with pet and dust allergies — used by 70,000+ customers in our second year on market. Our second brand launches in summer 2026.

We’re venture-funded, backed by Maveron, Khosla Ventures, and Mars, and founded by entrepreneurs who have built and sold nine-figure businesses. We’re building a world-class team to transform the consumer health industry.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Growth & Marketing Intern to join our marketing team and help us grow Pacagen across organic social and paid creative.

This is not a “watch from the sidelines” internship. You’ll have real ownership over content and creative from day one: managing organic channels, contributing to paid ad creative, and helping build systems that scale. You’ll work directly with a fast-moving team on live campaigns across multiple brands and be expected to bring your own ideas, taste, and hustle to the table.

The right person has a genuine eye for what works, cares deeply about performance, and is excited to learn what it actually takes to grow a consumer brand.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day organic social (TikTok + Instagram) — posting cadence, trend research, captions, and community engagement
  • Contribute to Meta ad creative: statics, videos, and carousels, from concept through to finished asset
  • Build and maintain a hooks and video format library, tracking what’s performing across paid and organic
  • Support UGC and influencer outreach — sourcing creators, building lists, managing first-touch communication
  • Bring fresh campaign angles and creative references to weekly brainstorms
  • Stay deeply attuned to trends in social, DTC, and performance creative, and bring what you’re seeing to the team

Qualifications

  • Strong eye for design and content, you can tell when something is off before anyone says it
  • Experience creating content, running an account, or working on creative assets (portfolio or examples a strong plus)
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Meta ads as a creator or observer, not just a consumer
  • Basic proficiency in design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe, or similar)
  • Clear communicator who can take feedback and move fast
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong taste and a low tolerance for mediocre work
  • Video editing experience is a must
  • Has used AI models (Sora, Veo, Gemini, Claude, etc.) as part of a real creative or production workflow, not just experimented once
  • Bonus if you’ve built or grown your own content (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

Who You Are

  • You think about why something performs, not just whether it looks good
  • You’re obsessed with what’s working on social right now and you have a point of view on it
  • You take initiative, you notice what needs to be done and do it without being asked
  • You’re a fast learner who wants to understand the full picture, not just your slice of it
  • You’re genuinely excited by the idea of growing a brand people love from the ground up

Why Work With Us?

We’re building a new kind of consumer health company, combining real science with best-in-class creative and storytelling. You’ll be inside a lean, high-performing team with direct access to experienced founders and operators. This is a place where strong thinkers can have an outsized impact, grow quickly, and take on real ownership early in their career.

Why NOT Work With Us?

This is a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. We move quickly and hold a high bar. If you need a lot of structure or hand-holding, this won’t be the right fit. We care deeply about our products and our customers — if you’re not energized by that, this isn’t the place for you.
