Scripps Executive to Address Media Management Association

Brian G. Lawlor, MBA 1996, will visit the School of Communication to share his experiences as a television executive with the Media Management Association. He will address the MMA at 5 p.m. on Jan. 28 in room 2055 of the Communication International Building.  Lawlor, 47, is senior vice president of The E.W. Scripps Company television division, which includes 19 stations and digital businesses in 13 U.S. markets. In 2012, the television division was the largest contributor of revenue to the company. Knoxville News-Sentinel Editor Discusses Future of Newspapers With MMA
