PREP Students Bring Success to Fourth Annual Wine, Women and Shoes Event

Perfectly catered for women who love wine, fashion and supporting an honorable cause, the 4th annual Wine, Women and Shoes event benefiting the Miami Children’s Health Foundation (MCHF) took place Wed., Feb. 4, at the JW Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami.

While guests, equipped in their best stilettos, enjoyed the red carpet, fashion show, silent auction and wine tastings, PREP students worked diligently with the MCHF public relations staff to ensure the event was a success. Student responsibilities included media registration, gathering pictures and testimonials for social media and assisting photographers and videographers throughout the function. 

“Even though it was an intense situation, it was great to shadow a photographer and see what goes into [coordinating] an event,” shares first-time PREP student, Alexxa Carrasco.

PREP students took pride in helping with behind-the-scenes tasks and working professionally while gaining hands-on experience. It was an honor to return to the Wine, Women and Shoes event for such a noble and fabulous affair.
