We are in need of graduate and/or undergraduate students for the following part-time positions (10-20 hours per week)
Social media/Marketing intern
This person will be responsible for updating the YILoveJewish.org webpage for upcoming events, posting on social media streams (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and will be responsible for contributing to marketing materials.
Administrative Assistant intern
This person will be responsible for cataloging, updating, and organizing the shared Google Drive, OneDrive, and Asana workplace platform so that all team members may efficiently work together. This position may also include identifying grant writing opportunities and/or writing and editing grant applications.
Public Relations intern
This person will work hand-in-hand with staff PR professionals and the social media/marketing intern to collaborate on ways to increase website engagement from the University of Miami student/faculty body as well as the greater Miami Jewish community at large (i.e. reaching out and sending emails to co-sponsors such as the Greater Miami Jewish Federation).
Graphics/Video/Website intern
This person will be responsible for assisting and creating graphic designs and video organization integrated with redesigning the YI Initiative webpage. Must be familiar with integrating CRM and Marketing applications into the webpage and must have prior experience in webpage and/or graphic design.
Internship Details
Length of internship program depends on whether the student is asking for credit or financial compensation. If for credit, the internship will be for the semester and is possible to re-new based on the advice of the student’s advisor. If for financial compensation, the internship program may be longer than a semester. This opportunity is open to negotiation.

Interns may start immediately once an interview is conducted, and an agreement is reached.
Compensation
Interns must be in good academic standing and will be provided one of two options in terms of compensation:
- Graduate student Interns will be offered payment of $18/per hour for a maximum 20 hours per week in addition to their credit compensation.
- Undergraduate Interns will be offered credit compensation for 1-2 credit hours p semester (this option must be approved by the student’s advisor) for a maximum of 20 hours per week
