Shake-A-Leg Miami has 2 -3 paid internships and several non paid internships.
Paid positions:
1) Outreach Campaign Manager: Develop and implement UM concepts. Use campaign to Reach and connect with miami youth and youth with disabilities from around the globe. Work in conjunction with the Shake A Leg Miami Virtual team
2) Co-manager: assist in the development and implementation of the UM concepts and manage the media interns/volunteers.
Unpaid positions:
– Video Editors
– copywriter
– Camera and sound
– Puppeteers (two students to be puppeteers for two muppet size puppets, Sally the Sailor and Mary the Mermaid. A series focused on sailing, and boating. Short segments will be made, educating youth about water safety and fun.
– Show Host: we have goals to produce a series of stories to be posted weekly during the summer. Hosts will choose their topic.
For any students interested in the paid and unpaid positions, we are going to have interviews at Shake A Leg this Saturday. Please have them email their resume, and their position if interest, to me and the others copied on this email. Also state if they are available to come by Shake A Leg Miami on Saturday.
