Overview
The Jordan Douglas team is seeking a creative, reliable, and social-media-savvy content creator to support a recording artist and his creative team.
The primary focus of this role is capturing authentic, engaging video content throughout the artist’s regular schedule. Content will include behind-the-scenes moments, lifestyle footage, studio sessions, meetings, rehearsals, events, planned social content, and other day-to-day activities.
This is an in-person position for someone who understands how to identify compelling moments, film strong vertical video, and help document the artist’s personality, work, and lifestyle.
The ideal candidate is a college student, recent graduate, or emerging creator studying film, digital media, communications, advertising, content creation, marketing, or a related field.
Primary Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled content sessions, meetings, rehearsals, studio sessions, events, and other activities.
- Capture high-quality vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Stories, and other social platforms.
- Identify natural moments worth filming without requiring constant direction.
- Record behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, personality-driven, performance, and promotional content.
- Organize, label, upload, and manage raw footage after each content session.
- Follow creative direction and maintain a consistent visual style.
- Communicate clearly about scheduling, availability, project updates, and footage delivery.
- Arrive on time and prepared for every scheduled session.
- Handle unreleased music, private conversations, and personal information with discretion.
- Editing Responsibilities
- Video editing skills are strongly preferred. Candidates with editing experience may also:
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Add captions, music, transitions, pacing, and platform-appropriate formatting.
- Turn longer footage into several short pieces of content.
- Create multiple edits or hooks from the same footage.
- Deliver organized drafts for team review and approval.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and current social media formats.
- Experience filming people, artists, creators, events, lifestyle content, or behind-the-scenes footage.
- Basic or intermediate video editing experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Good visual instincts and an understanding of framing, lighting, sound, pacing, and storytelling.
- Awareness of social media trends, hooks, editing styles, and audience behavior.
- Ability to suggest content ideas and identify trends relevant to the artist.
- Photography, graphic design, caption writing, or social media posting experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to locations throughout the Miami area.
- Availability for a flexible part-time schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Clear, timely communication.
- Ability to manage changing schedules and juggle multiple assignments.
- Ability to work independently while following direction from the creative team.
- Professional behavior and respect for privacy.
- Comfortable spending extended periods with the artist and capturing content without disrupting his schedule.
- Access to a current smartphone with a strong camera. Additional camera or audio equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement.

- You should enjoy social media, recognize strong content quickly, and bring a current perspective to short-form video.
- This position offers hands-on experience working with a recording artist and an experienced creative team
- The right person will have too to grow as the artist’s content operation expands.
