Position Details:

  • Schedule: Part time/hrs. flexible
  • Location: South Coconut Grove, Miami, FL 33133
  • Seeking Mature /Responsible upperclassmen or graduate students with creative and technical skills, detail oriented with ability to problem solve.

Marketing/ Social Media/ Business Organization

  • Assist with FWA’s overall branding enhancing skills in a variety of disciplines including communications and marketing strategies.

Experience/ Responsibilities

  • Technical, design and writing skills are key for this internship/position
  • Assist with the development and updating website, marketing and social media
  • Work with gallery/museum committee

Current projects include:

  • FWA traveling exhibit has been shown at over 60 venues including The US Senate Russell Rotunda, The Florida Governor’s Mansion, and The History Miami Museum. We are preparing to work with a search committee to find a permanent home for the FWA Documentary, where it can be permanently housed, exhibited, and available for community showings.
  • Virtual Leadership Institute/Learning Hub: With FWA’s goal to reach an expansive audience, the FWA website is being redesigned and expanded to include its educational and mentoring presentations, photographic documentary exhibition, audio lecture programs and video interview. The goal is to preserve Women’s History presenting a wealth of guidance and historical references. This online portal will chronicle new leaders and those who have been featured over the last three decades in a platform that gives viewers a sense of history as well as insights into personal journeys of challenges and opportunities.
  • FWA 2024 Honoree are being selected for photographic portraits and audio interview productions.
  • Apprenticeship/Intern Program: Interns have the opportunity to gain professional experience and hone their skills in marketing or media production.
