Gin & Luck is a Hospitality Group that has established an outstanding reputation for quality products and services. G&L is the parent company for the Death & Co bars; Death & Co Market, an online destination for cocktail enthusiasts; Close Company, a new cocktail bar brand; and a co-owner of the hotel group, Midnight Auteur hotels.
What began as an intimate bar in NYC has become a consolidated hospitality group overseeing the operations of bars and restaurants across the country. Through this growth, we’ve maintained our commitment to fine product and exceptional experiences, a focus on hospitality, and a deep desire to be a center for our communities.
The goal of our internship program is to provide exposure and hands-on experience in “all things” Hospitality. This is an unpaid/for college credit only internship program … and is designed for both Undergraduate and Graduate students who are eager to gain practical experience with a reputable Hospitality Group in the following field/area of study:
G&L – Marketing / Social Internship
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Fluency in digital programs such as Google Suite, Canva, Later.com, Adobe, Slack, CapCut or similar video editing software, etc.
- Willingness to learn
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry
- Creative and strategic thinker who brings new ideas to the table
- Outgoing personality, positive attitude and great work ethic
- Operate with the highest possible levels of confidentiality, discretion and trust
Responsibilities & Learning outcomes include, but are not limited to:
- Creative copywriting across multiple mediums, including social, web, email, etc.
- Conduct community management and fan acquisition across social media accounts, with a focus on growing and community building
- Own admin work including:
- Monthly top-line analytics reporting
- Newsletter building
- Company website updates
- Asset management and organization (Dropbox, photos, videos, decks, etc.)
- Coordinate influencer lists, outreach, and management when needed
- Create social media plans for new company properties, partners, etc.
- Ideate creative plans for in-progress company social initiatives
- Reels, TikTok, etc.
- Attend meetings and participate in creative brainstorm sessions
- Manage multiple projects at once, seek guidance as needed, meet deadlines and accurately communicate progress and deliverables to team
Salary: Unpaid / For College Credit Only – Fall 2025
