BloqUV is a sun protective apparel company established in 2009 and based in Miami, Fl. This position will support wholesale, retail and DTC sales efforts. The Marketing Manager will work closely with President, Product Development Team and Sales Manager.
Objectives of this Role
- Lead in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy both for e-commerce and wholesale businesses.
- Prepare and manage marketing budget and expenses.
- Point person for marketing platforms, graphic designer and all marketing functions.
- Assist in the ideation and creation of promotional high-quality content for the company’s website and social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).
- Develop, manage and create content calendars for platforms including blogs, websites, email, SMS and social media.
- Make sure all content it aligns with company values and messaging.
- Engage with customers via social platforms and emails.
- Generate traffic and leads through digital strategies.
- Utilize relevant tools to create reports on the performance of our social media content and campaigns.
- Track consumer analytics using Google Analytics and other marketing dashboards.
- Manage BloqUV reviews/loyalty program.
- Craft UGC, professional and influencer campaigns through content marketing platforms.
- A/B testing.
- Execute keyword research, competitor analysis and implement those suggestions and analyze results.
- Coordinate lifestyle and indoor photoshoots.
- Work with influencers and track performance.
- Generate new campaigns to increase audiences.
- Wholesale catalogue design.
- Keep in touch with current and upcoming trends and the social media landscape and adjust our content strategy accordingly.
- Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research and seminars.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- At least 3 years of experience in a marketing management role.
- Strong background in digital/social media marketing (apparel industry is a +).
- Proven track record of delivering innovative social media campaigns that drive long-term results.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and relevant social media ads managers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and a good eye for visual aesthetics and design.
- Experience with Klaviyo email marketing is a plus.
- Experience with research using data analytics software such as SEMrush.
- Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasker, proactive and ability to prioritize projects.
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides, In Design and Photoshop.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) tools such as Shopify
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and design and email software (Klaviyo) and Semrush, Google Analytics,
