KRU PT + Performance Lab, formerly known as Athletix, is a well-established physical therapy and performance center with a commitment to providing exceptional care and innovative solutions for our patients. As we rebrand and expand our services, we are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media and Marketing Intern to join our team and help us share our story, engage our audience, and drive new client leads.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Social Media and Marketing Intern at KRU, you will work closely with the owner, and our marketing/operations team to create engaging content for our website and execute social media strategies that reflect our brand’s values and mission. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and editing captivating Reels and short videos to showcase our clinic, services, patient success stories, and health/movement tips.
  • Writing insightful and well-researched blog posts on topics related to physical therapy, recovery, wellness, and the benefits of our services to boast website SEO
  • Assisting in managing our social media platforms, including content scheduling, engagement, and monitoring.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative campaign ideas and initiatives.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of events/partnerships with our marketing team.
  • Researching industry trends and competitive landscape to contribute to content strategy.
  • Supporting other marketing initiatives and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for social media and digital marketing, with an understanding of various platforms and their features.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to produce engaging, informative, and error-free content.
  • Creative mindset and willingness to contribute fresh ideas to our marketing campaigns.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn and adapt.
