Debris Free Oceans (DFO) is a Miami-based non-profit dedicated to empowering Miami-Dade Communities to go zero-waste! We achieve this mission through educational outreach on single-use plastics, sustainable consulting, policy advocacy, and zero-waste lifestyle awareness events like cleanups 🌊
The Chef Andrew Scholar Internship is a 9-month paid program for college students based in South Florida who are passionate about engaging communities in the fight against plastic pollution.
We are selecting four interns to join our 2025-26 cohort. Scholars will co-lead monthly cleanups in pairs and complete all other activities, such as tabling, presentations, and policy engagement, independently.

⏰ Time Commitment: ~16 hours/month
đź’° Compensation: $2,400 total stipend, paid in monthly installments
