JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate. This person will receive individual training from our staff of seasoned professionals. Business Development Associate position will be sales-directed and responsible for acquiring new accounts and building existing relationships. This person will develop call lists and engage with clients on a daily basis. If you are an individual with a strong interest in business development and a functional knowledge of print management, we invite you to send us your resume. Applicants should ideally be graduates of the Graphic Communications/Print Media major with a passion for sales & marketing and have at least 18 to 24 months of customer service experience in some capacity. Applicants must possess the ability to motivate, inform, and educate new and existing clients, and should have professional, confident speaking abilities coupled with a positive, helpful, and encouraging attitude.
Essential Functions/Duties the Business Development Associate will develop through training include:
• Researching potential accounts by vertical to identify opportunities and develop lead lists • Business prospecting through all methods of communication such as mail, phone, email, social media, and in person
• Reaching out to prospects through cold calls and in person/remote meetings
• Supporting all sales team functions
• Developing prospect and customer specifications for submission to estimating/sourcing
• Tracking customer pricing requests to ensure a timely turnaround
• Reviewing proposals to ensure accuracy
• Working closely with estimating to determine the best vendors to include for pricing
