Position Summary: Inter Miami CF is seeking Broadcast Production interns to support the Broadcasting Department
with the day to day and matchday production duties. The Broadcast Production interns will gain knowledge of all
departmental activities including game production from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with rightsholders, local broadcaster and other clubs on all aspects (Technical and Production)
needed for their Away and or In-Game production.
Accommodate any request our partners may have such as booths, pitch reporters, positions, access and
how their signal will arrive back to their facilities.
• Have all elements for home game functions at least 2 days before matchday.
• Create and manage the schedule for all broadcast talent, vendors and service providers for home and
away matches.
• Liaise across internal departments including but not limited to Digital, Content and Communications to
provide all available materials to be used in different platforms prior to match day. Assist with TV, OTT,
radio production and logistics.
• Implement sales activations in our stream / broadcast or inventory available (Clock, Wipes, Transitions,
‘Man of the Match,’ etc.). Develop professional research skills prior to games.
• Assist in matchday field and studio preparation; pregame, halftime show and press conferences
• Assist in facilitating interviews with players, coaches and media
• Develop relationship with on-air talent
• Camera operation – basic DSLR capability, and video editing
• Produce pregame shows, halftime shows or press conferences.
• Produce alternative feed for app, YouTube and Facebook stream
• Coordinate fiber lines and work orders with outside vendors such as The Switch, ATT and Mango
• Archive and log footage after games
Qualifications:
• Production background
• Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Must have knowledge of fútbol and Major League Soccer.
• Experience with broadcast equipment; Cameras, switchers, audio cables, fiber, SDI Cables etc.
• Extreme attention to detail
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in
journalism, communications, TV production, or related field. Candidates receiving credit for participating
in our internship program are preferred.
