Join Miami MoCAAD’s digital team to support the growth of our Black Art Near + Far and Digital Artist Library. This intern will use AI tools to discover underrepresented Black artists and exhibitions across the African diaspora and help prepare brief artist profiles and event recaps. You’ll contribute to our digital museum experience while learning how tech and culture intersect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google) to identify additional artists of the African Diaspora and Africa, exhibitions, and digital showcases globally
  • Write short blurbs or content summaries for Weekly Artist Features and Monthly Wrap-Ups
  • Help prepare social media captions and summaries tied to research findings
  • Support additional research and writing projects as assigned
  • Attend and participate at weekly team meetings via Zoom

Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Interest in contemporary art, technology, and innovation
  • Familiarity with or open to learning effective and accurate use of AI research tools (ChatGPT, Google Bard, Perplexity, etc.)
  • Strong writing and organization skills
