UOnline and the Division of Continuing and International Education (DCIE) seek THREE student interns for Fall 2025 to work with the Communications Director and Marketing Directors to create and share social media content on student success, faculty accomplishments, and other programs, events and news.

The Interns’ primary responsibility will be to produce social media and video content for multiple platforms, using video editing software, Canva, InDesign, Illustrator and other tools. Experience with Sprout or Looker dashboard for reporting is a plus.

This position is open to full-time enrolled students at the University of Miami and will report to the Marketing Directors of DCIE or UOnline.

The interns will gain hands-on experience creating and reporting on social media content. The intern may receive up to 3 internship credit hours through their major.

The intern will work a maximum of 20 hours a week and must have availability during the day. Most of the work will be completed remotely, although occasional meetings may be scheduled in-person at the Coral Gables campus.

The interns may be asked to attend and record video at events, classes or other activities that occur on campus or in the evening or on weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing social media content, including photos, videos and text, using Canva, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Conducting video interviews, taking photos, editing video.
  • Producing reports in Canva and/or Looker

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with social media
  • Experience with Canva, Illustrator or InDesign
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and take on new tasks as assigned
