Position Overview
We’re looking for passionate journalism students interested in entertainment and sports reporting. This virtual internship offers the chance to build your portfolio and gain hands-on experience through blog posts, video content, and live event coverage—all while earning college credit.
Responsibilities
- Research & Reporting: Write engaging blog posts, breaking news, and feature stories.
- Video Content Creation: Develop dynamic video content, including interviews and event recaps.
- Live Coverage: Participate in live reporting of virtual events and press releases.
- Social Media Support: Assist with social media strategy through creative posts and engagement.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in journalism, communications, or a related field and eligible to earn college credit.
- Strong interest in entertainment and sports reporting; prior experience (school newspaper, blog, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a virtual setting.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and video-editing software is a plus
