Do you want to gain some experience working for an award-winning Creative team within a Championship organization? We have the job for you! The Miami HEAT is hiring a well-rounded, talented intern for the 23-24 season.
We are looking for a coachable, tenacious individual with a good work ethic who’s eager to learn and evolve. The Creative Intern will report directly to the Sr. Creative Operations Manager and assist with running the operations of an in-house brand. Candidate should have interest and preferably some experience in design and marketing. Candidate should also have excellent organizational and communication skills for assisting with project management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate on a team of designers, animators, and editors with the ability to shift on a dime, while ensuring that brand standards are maintained consistently, and deliverables are provided on time.
- Manage the production of reoccurring templated design tasks using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator with a variety of elements including photography, logos, and graphic elements as advised by senior creative staff.
- Supporting the creative team in organizing, maintaining, and delivering digital assets, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
- Assist in managing daily departmental workflow process in coordination with Sr. Creative Operations Manager and Director of Creative Operations
- Assist with project management with third-party vendors, especially large print production projects.
- Keep excellent notes in meetings and creative sessions.
- Assist the Sr. Creative Operations Manager and the Sr. Director of Creative Operations in other capacities
as necessary.

- Comfortable with chaos. You can find solutions even without perfect precedents or direction and map out a path to clarity and execution.
- Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be enrolled in college or university and be able to work from September through May. This will be a part-time position with flexible set hours according to class schedule.
