Craig Robins, president and CEO of Dacra, is sharing his expertise with the University of Miami School of Communication, April 11 at 4 p.m. in CIB3053, Shoma Hall. This event will be moderated by award-winning journalist, Rula Jebreal, visiting professor in the School of Communication at the University of Miami.

Robins is a developer, designer, philanthropist, and artist. Early in his career, Robins launched the economic revitalization of South Beach’s Art Deco District through meticulous renovation. This success prompted Robins to develop a uniquely vibrant community – the Miami Design District. 

The Miami Design District’s cultural presence inspired Design Miami/ and Design Miami/ Basel, design fairs Robins owns in partnership with the producers of Art Basel, MCH Swiss Exhibition.

Robins founded the Anaphiel Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to the promotion of arts education. Additionally, Robins is on the Miami Art Museum’s board of trustees.

The presentation titled Craig Robins: The Interplay of Architecture, Design and Branding is open to the UM community and is certain to instill inspiration.
