Program Overview
The Give Miami Day Communications & Marketing Micro Internship Program connects emerging communications and marketing students or professionals with local nonprofit organizations preparing to fundraise on Give Miami Day. Through this pilot program, selected interns will provide 20 hours of communications and marketing project-based support to a participating nonprofit between October 1 and December 1, 2026, helping organizations strengthen their Give Miami Day campaigns while gaining hands-on experience in the nonprofit and social impact sector.
Interns will be matched with an organization based on their skills, interests, availability, and the organization’s communications needs. Depending on the organization, projects may include developing social media content, strengthening Give Miami Day messaging, creating a communications calendar, updating the organization’s Give Miami Day profile on the Give Miami Day platform, developing storytelling content, or supporting other campaign communications.
Interns will receive a $500 stipend for 20 hours of project execution. Please note this micro internship will not count towards college credits.
