The University of Miami Women’s Cancer Association is a not-for-profit organization established to provide funds for cancer research, cancer education and cancer patient care since 1959. 

The store has been a fixture in the Little Havana neighborhood for decades and seeks a creative ideator that can add some spark and generate community interest and support. This is an opportunity to develop and support creative and dynamic branding for the non-profit UM Women’s Cancer Association and its Bargain Box Thrift Store.

Responsibilities include updating its social media presence to grow the base following, to increase visibility and awareness of both the Thrift Store and the Association.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Successful completion of introductory courses in advertising, public relations or equivalent course work, at a minimum junior level.
  • Prefer minimum Junior or Senior students.
