Our FX Production and Special Projects group is looking for an innovative intern to join the team. We work on all on-air promotions, editorial campaigns, and special projects for marketing and other departments. Special Projects also includes, Behind the Scenes series for shows, post-production VFX and a bi-weekly company wide newsletter.
We have a prestigious slate of programming such as FX on Hulu original American Horror Stories and Reservation Dogs, drama series, Shogun, Fargo, Mayans M.C. and Snowfall, limited series American Horror Story and American Crime Story, comedy series The Bear, Atlanta, Dave, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, What We Do in the Shadows, the weekly short-form comedy programming showcase Cake, and a growing slate of docuseries and documentary features. What You Will Do:
You will assist and support the team as needed with anything from admin needs, shoot prep, research, to post organization as well as assisting with the department newsletter. You may even have the opportunity to be offered as a Production Assistant on local shoots for Print, Social and On-Air Promotions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Passion and knowledge of current FX TV shows
- Previous experience in production & post-production
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
Education:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Additional Information:
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 to early June 2025
- Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, California area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
