Sunshine Digital Marketing Solutions is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic & Web Design Assistant to support design projects for our financial services clients.
This is a remote, part-time opportunity that’s especially well-suited for a current college student who wants to gain real-world experience outside the classroom, build their portfolio, and get hands-on experience working with clients and professional marketing projects.
You’ll work directly on a variety of creative projects, helping develop polished, professional marketing materials and websites for financial services companies. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys design, wants to learn how creative work is applied in a business setting, and is interested in exploring a career in graphic design, web design, marketing, or a related field.
What You’ll Do
- Create and update marketing materials, presentations, social media graphics, digital ads, and other branded content
- Assist with website design, updates, and basic development
- Help maintain and improve websites, including layouts, images, and content updates
- Work within existing brand guidelines while also bringing creative ideas to the table
- Prepare design files and assets for digital and web use
- Help ensure projects are polished, consistent, and detail-oriented
- Brainstorm creative concepts and solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong foundation in graphic design and visual communication
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar design tools
- Experience with WordPress
- An interest in website design and/or development
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for typography, layout, and visual consistency
- Creative, curious, and willing to learn
- Able to take feedback and make revisions
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills
