Ryan Duffy is the Head of Operations and Creator Partnerships, Audio at Medium. Created by Twitter co-founder Ev Williams, Medium is a publishing platform used by more than 100 million users monthly, placing it among the top 100 most-visited sites in the US. Prior to Medium, Ryan was part of the founding team of Knowable, an Andreessen Horowitz-backed audio skill-building and self-improvement app launched in 2019 and acquired by Medium in 2021. Previously, he was a founding team member of Digital Objects, one of the world’s first NFT platforms, and he helped grow Vidme, a social video startup acquired by GIPHY in 2018. Ryan is a Miami native and a 2007 graduate of the College of Arts and Science.

The University of Miami School of Communication is The University of Miami School of Communication is broadening its graduate degree offerings with a new Master of Fine Arts in Documentary. 

This program is the first in the nation to combine journalism and film into an interdisciplinary program.
