Project Description
The task was to find a way to interest and engage English-speaking audiences in the United Kingdom with Netflix’s various foreign language shows.
Recognizing that foreign shows can seem alienating and inaccessible to this demographic, we decided to tackle the issue by relating gripping, edge-of-your-seat moments in famous fore.
In comparing the life-or-death challenges and heightened melodrama of shows like Squid Games and Unorthodox, we seek to both familiarize the public with the shows’ gripping plots while making a statement. Living in Britain’s current political climate may be a bloody mess, but one thing is for sure, you’re always safe to curl up and watch a bigger mess over at Netflix that for once, is Not Your Drama.
