PREP worked proudly for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital “It’s All About The Kids” Gala on Oct. 4 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Downtown Miami. It was a night of sparkling fun with celebrities walking the red carpet, media looking to get the extraordinary shot and everyone in high spirits to support a great cause.
“This event raises money so that the parents of children who are affected by rare forms of cancer don’t have to worry about paying for their child’s treatment,” said Susset Cabrera of Peacock Public Relations.
PREP students worked diligently with the public relations staff from St. Jude, Peacock Public Relations and República to make the night a success. Dressed for the occasion, students made sure the event ran smoothly by covering media check-in, red carpet management and escorting celebrities to the ballroom.
“We love working with volunteers that support our cause every year and hopefully, they will be motivated to support St. Jude in other ways in the future,” said Cabrera.
It was an honor for PREP students to be part of such a meaningful event, helping to create an impeccable setting for raising funds so that St. Jude can continue to find cures and save children because after all, “Its All About The Kids.”
