Ph.D. Student
My name is Dongqing Xu. I come from China. My research interests are in public relations (and subareas such as crisis communication). Before I came to the University of Miami, I earned my master’s degree in Syracuse University. After I graduate, I hope to enter the academic field and become a public relations scholar and educator.
While in this program, I have taught STC 103 (Statistical Reasoning for Strategic Communication) and will teach STC 311 (Public Relations Research) in the following academic year. I have presented my research at IPRRC, AEJMC, BEA, and ICA.
For my out-of-campus life, I am a big fan of musicals and always ready for another Broadway show!
