Join us for the Second Annual Shorts Miami International Film Festival where established and emerging filmmakers showcase their work over three nights at the Bill Cosford Cinema. This year, festival organizers received 650 entries from 62 countries and territories. Of the 650 entries, 21 were selected as finalists, showcasing filmmakers from the United States, Japan, the Virgin Islands, Turkey, Israel, Brazil, Portugal, Indonesia, and Australia. The inaugural United Black Students and UTrailblazers Canes Black History Film Festival is focused on short films that reflect on the University of Miami’s rich Black History. The goal of the festival is to enhance and highlight the UTrailblazers Experience at the Johnny C.
