Funding, Research and Creative Activity Resources

Welcome to the School of Communication’s guide to Funding, Research, and Creative Activity Resources. This document consolidates key funding opportunities, research support services, and compliance resources available to assist faculty in advancing research, scholarship, and creative activity. It includes information on internal seed funding, proposal development support, University-wide interdisciplinary awards, and infrastructure that supports analytics, creative production, and research administration.
Whether you are initiating a new project, developing a proposal, or seeking ongoing support, this guide is intended to serve as a centralized point of reference for School of Communication faculty at every stage of their work. New faculty may wish to begin with School-level funding opportunities and research support services and then review University-wide resources aligned with their project goals and timelines. Links throughout the guide direct you to application guidelines and relevant offices. Please use them as entry points and contact the appropriate offices for individualized guidance. Faculty are encouraged to consult this guide regularly as opportunities, policies, and resources are updated. Comments and suggestions are welcome as we continue to refine and expand this resource.
Sincerely,
