On this week’s Your Story, we meet Anthony El-Alam, a student who was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at an early age. With the support of his family, Anthony has been able to go to University and accomplish many things, but he’s still working towards achieving independence.
This video was produced in the Science Documentary: Autism class, co-taught by Jim Virga and Julia Dallman. Students collaborated with WPBT2 South Florida PBS to produce these videos. The course brings together student citizens across science, communication, and education to collaborate on content intended to reach audiences on multiple platforms.
