Project Description
A series of 9 short documentaries featuring the health fairs run by the Mitchell Wolfson Sr. Department of Community Service (DOCS) at the Miller School of Medicine to address the challenges and disparities in providing health screenings and follow up care for patients in under-served communities in South Florida. These films also explore the ethnic and cultural roots of various commonly shared diseases within these communities as well as the detailed human stories of specified patients who are shadowed in each episode.
