Barbara Millet is director of the University of Miami User Experience (UX) Lab and Assistant Professor of Interactive Media at the School of Communication. She received her PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami in 2009. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on media content and technology, including the impact of design elements on information processing, psychophysiological measures as indicators of user experience, and the way user interface design influences human behavior.
