Student-worker will assist the Miami Athletics Department's production services staff with the following:

Are you a film student looking to make a real difference with your skills? Entertainment 2 Affect Change (E2AC) is accepting applications for its year-long Social Impact Filmmaking Fellowship now!
Selected students will join a small team paired with a local nonprofit to produce a professional 10–15 minute documentary on this year's theme: Food Insecurity. Fellows receive mentorship from working filmmakers, funding, guaranteed distribution on E2AC's streaming channel, and a spring community premiere, plus a portfolio piece that's entirely yours to keep.

What is the E2AC U Social Impact Film Fellowship?
Overview
- Cohorts of 4-5 fellows on each college campus spend one academic year developing, producing, and screening a socially impactful documentary in collaboration with a local, under-resourced nonprofit and a documentary film mentor.
Fall (September to December): Story Development & Production
- What goes into making a documentary, and telling a story that is not my own? Fellows kick off this program by meeting with their assigned nonprofit to come up with potential story focuses, interview subjects, and more. From there, they begin capturing B-Roll and scheduling interviews by the end of the semester.
Spring (January to April): Editing, Screening, & Impact Campaign
- What happens after a film is made? Fellows spend these weeks editing a final cut, organizing a community screening, learning about distribution, and creating an impact campaign in support of the nonprofit’s mission. Stories have the power to change the world, and we want to help make that possible!

Karsh Journalism Fellowship | DUE September 1, 2026

The Karsh Journalism Fellowship equips early- to mid-career journalists to report with depth, rigor, and clarity on Jewish issues in the United States and around the world. Fellows participate in three intensive retreats — in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, D.C. — engaging with leading journalists, scholars, policymakers, and innovators across the arts, media, and business.
As the world’s only journalism fellowship solely dedicated to Jewish topics, the program is resolutely nonpartisan and grounded in the principles of accuracy, independence, transparency, and accountability. Up to ten fellows are selected annually to advance public understanding through uncompromising, high-impact reporting. This is a non-partisan fellowship that is not chiefly concerned with activism. It is for early and mid-career journalists to develop an understanding of how to report in an unbiased way on Jewish issues. Applicants do not need to be Jewish.

Miami Hurricanes on SI is looking for interns to help cover the Hurricanes: primarily football, basketball, baseball and recruiting. We do a little bit of everything from breaking news to podcasts, and strive to do it well.
We're a strong believer that the best way to learn sports journalism is to actually do it, cover games and be part of the day-to-day coverage, and encourage a team atmosphere with everyone helping each other. Video and social media are a big part of what we do, and photographers welcome as well.
Compensation: Unpaid, with potential to grow into part-time and full-time roles.
