Manasvi Maheshwari’s research focuses on journalism studies and communication for social change. She has published and presented research in journalism, public service advertising and development communication. She is passionate about the potential positive impact of communication research on society, bridging gaps, fostering understanding, and creating meaningful transformation.
Manasvi was the faculty in charge of data collection for The Worlds of Journalism Study, India, 2021-2023. She was the co-supervisor for the project ‘Cycle and E-Rickshaw Pullers of India: A Socio-Economic Analysis’, http://youthaidfoundation.org/reports/
She has more than 12 years of teaching and administrative experience in India and has worked in corporate communications. She completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in journalism and mass communication in India. She received a doctorate in Media Management, focusing on news content and delivery practices, from the School of Journalism and New Media Studies, IGNOU, India.
Manasvi says, “As a researcher, I aspire to push the boundaries of knowledge and make meaningful contributions to communication research. I aim to conduct innovative and impactful research, fostering discoveries that improve our understanding of the world and offer practical solutions to complex problems.”
