Caitlin Atkinson is a 2017 University of Miami graduate with a major in Media Management and minors in Music Business, Marketing & Psychology.
Caitlin is now the Director of Program Planning at Peacock, the streaming service operated by NBCUniversal. She is responsible for overseeing the scheduling strategy, tracking, and internal communication of all content available on the platform, which includes acquired, original, and current season programming. She also project manages the greenlight process, partnering with the strategy team to assess content under consideration for development and acquisition.
Caitlin began her career at Nickelodeon on the Digital Programming team where she scheduled content and oversaw the editorial strategy for the preschool streaming service, Noggin, as well as the Nick Jr. website, app, and YouTube Channel. From there, she worked at A+E Networks, managing the A&E YouTube channel on the Video Monetization team.
In addition to her coursework at UM, Caitlin was an anchor for UMTV NewsVision as well as the Social Media Strategist, a new position she created for the show. She also held internships at Nickelodeon in Digital Programming in New York and NBCUniversal International in Programming & Acquisitions in Miami.
