Will Hughes began his advertising career with DDB and has helped create award-winning campaigns for some of the world's leading brands and startups, most recently with SapientRazorfish and Barbarian. Currently he is the Director of Storytelling for the blockchain venture IF When Then, as well as a freelance copywriter and creative director. In the classroom he is passionate about brand storytelling, creative strategy, and rigorous workshop methods.
Prior to joining the industry he earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Houston as a three-year Cullen Fellow in Fiction, published fiction and nonfiction, served as the founding editor of a notable Brooklyn literary journal, and taught literature and rhetoric at the City University of New York.
