Christine holds a Master in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University (Entertainment Technology Center), where she learned and applied the principles and practices of interactive entertainment. She also holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Art & Technology and Psychology from 서강대학교 (Sogang University), where she developed her skills and knowledge in 3D art, animation, UI/UX design, and human-computer interaction.
Her work and teaching are grounded in a multidisciplinary approach to digital creativity, with a focus on 3D art for games, technical art, and real-time rendering. Her interests include look development, AR/VR/XR experiences, and emerging intersections between AI and digital art production. She brings a production-informed perspective to the classroom, helping students navigate both the technical and creative dimensions of interactive media.
Christine is a 3D artist, photographer, designer, video creator, and illustrator. Christine has experience as an Interactive Media Design Intern at Universal Creative, where she worked with a team of designers, engineers, and artists to create immersive and engaging experiences for theme parks and attractions. She also worked as a 3D Art & UI/UX Instructor and a Teaching Assistant, where she taught and mentored students in 3D modeling, texturing, UI/UX, and game development. Christine is proficient in using tools such as Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, and After Effects to create realistic and stylized characters and environments. She has also participated and won in a blockchain hackathon, where she designed the UI/UX for a decentralized application. Christine is passionate about creating interactive media that can inspire, educate, and entertain diverse audiences.
At the Virtual Experiences Simulation Lab (VESL), she mentors students in 3D art and UIUX design, supporting experimental projects that explore the boundaries of virtual experience.
